Jessica Freireich
Jessica is a seasoned strategist who partners with leaders to create economic, social, and environmental value. She has led and advised teams at startups and established organizations to help them succeed.
Jessica has spent more than 10 years in strategy leadership roles, most recently as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at Consumer Reports. In addition to addressing immediate performance challenges, she reset the strategic direction, oversaw innovation initiatives, and worked to build a more results-driven culture. Prior to that, she led Organizational Performance at the Rockefeller Foundation, focusing on strategy, measurement, and evaluation for global programs, including co-funding partnerships such as the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet.
Previously Jessica spent a decade as a management consultant at Monitor Group (now part of Deloitte), advising Fortune 500 companies on marketing, operations, and organizational effectiveness. At Monitor Institute she shaped strategy for nonprofits and foundations on such issues as the environment, education, and finance. She also co-authored the pioneering report Investing for Social and Environmental Impact, which spurred the founding of the Global Impact Investing Network.
Earlier in her career Jessica served as a Harvard Business School Leadership Fellow at Save the Children and worked at the venture philanthropy fund New Profit, developing growth plans with social entrepreneurs.
Jessica holds an M.B.A. with distinction from Harvard
Business School and a B.A. from Harvard College, Phi Beta Kappa. A
native New Yorker, she enjoys spending time with her family in Central
Park and loves the city's glam and grit alike.
